three years ago!
Natalie slowly knocked on the door to Dr. Grayson's office. She was rather nervous since today was her job interview, and it was up to this woman whether Natalie was fit to work in Seattle Grace, well, complete her residency rather, or not. Natalie had only moved her about a week ago and was still unfamiliar with the area. She had gotten lost twice on the way to the hospital, and she got lost three times inside the hospital. The day wasn't off to a very good start, so she figured things could only go up from here.

"I mean it!" Julianna's voice could be heard from inside her office, "Leave Dr. Crane alone. He has a job to do, and can't do it with you there."
"grruuahh!" Came the sounds of a young girl's voice. "I'm not going looking for him!" The door to the office flew open and a young blond flew past Natalie.
A older brown hair haired woman showed up in the door way. "Can I help you miss?"

Natalie watched as the door swung open, after she heard a woman inside obviously angry with the young girl. She would have followed her to make sure she was okay, but the woman (who she assumed to be Julianna Grayson) asked her a question. Natalie smiled and extended her hand.
"Hello! My name is Natalie Cooper, and I have a job interview with you, I believe, today...right now actually." She briefly glanced as the young girl kept walking, and really felt like following her since she seemed rather upset. "Is she going to be okay?" Natalie asked concerndly.

"That would be my daughter Gabby, and she has a crush on one of the doctors that works here. She is most likely going to go get a late lunch and eat it somewhere, where she thinks he will walk bye." Julianna said then offered her hand. "Julianna Grayson, please come on in."

Natalie gave a small laugh as she explained what she had been upset about. "Thats adorable! I don't blame her though, there are very attractive doctors working here. But its very cute that she has a crush on one of them. How old is she?" She figured that since it was her daughter, she wouldn't mind talking about her...or perhaps, she was the complete opposite. Natalie was just working on breaking the ice, since she was hopefully going to be working with under this doctor for the next four years.
She shook her hand and returned it to her side. "Thank you!" She said entering her office, and made her way to the chair where she was probably going to sit. She stood, waiting for Doctor Grayson to sit first. "Lovely office I must say," she said, looking around.

"Thank you." Julianna said as she walked around to her desk and sat down. "Gabby, my daughter, helped make it look like a office she saw on TV. Some....Prison Break, show or something." Julianna shook her head. "Please sit, and tell me about why you decided to apply here, out of all places?"

Natalie smiled as she told her that her daughter designed her office, comparing it to that one tv. "Prison Break...I've heard of that show before," she said. She didn't have that much time for tv, but the main reason she remembered it was because one of the doctors in the hospital reminded her of the main character.
"Thank you," she said as she took a seat. "The main reason I chose this hospital is because of its reputation, as well as the reputation of the doctors who work here. I'm sure you know how highly regarded Seattle Grace is, and I felt I could learn a lot from each and every person in here...and it really is an honour just to be considered for the job." She wasn't trying to suck up, she was just trying to express her gratitude and excitement for this job interview and the possibility that she would be working here.
"And not to mention the fact that Seattle is such a lovely place," she added.
[LOL! Its tradition for our threads!!]

"I agree, so much safer." Julianna said knowing that the crime rate was not that bad compare to other major city's. Julianna was, however, used to hearing about how great it was to be interviewed for the job. "It's not all glamor here. I hope you don't get disappointed from the lack of thrills here. We are know as the best but we are because he handle things before they get out of control."

"It certainly is," Natalie said in full agreement. Natalie smiled when Julianna said she hoped she wouldn't be disappointed by the lack of thrill. "Not at all. I would prefer there be no excitement, than a bad kind of excitement. The thrill of working here is enough to intrigue me. As I have said before, the reputations of most of the doctors here are impressive, so I would imagine that things are fairly under control...which is an excellent thing in a hospital, obviously."
