Dimitri somehow managed to keep from laughing as well as scowling. Really, he was a bit hurt that Doug was calling him a jerk, even if he was acting like one. Dr. Karloff was honestly not very sure of what to do with himself around living people and it was not unusual for him to piss people off like this.
"I already am tellink you. . .there is no vay out. There is no escape. In a few hours, maybe our captors vill come vith food. . ." Dimitri continued the bullshit, completely amused with himself and hoping to irritate Doug even more. People should just learn to have a better sense of humor.

"Yeah... Great... Whatever." Doug, not as scared of the morgue thanks to his anger, walks over and takes a seat on the metal table that Dimitri had been on. He was still miffed but not as much as he was annoyed now. All he wanted was to get out of here and go home. He runs a hand over his hair and looks at the body, "Oh dude... What did he kill over for?"

"You are givink up ideas of escapink?" Dimitri asked, seeing Doug sit upon the table. He made a mental note to clean that table off (not only because Doug was sitting on it, but because Dimitri had been laying on it earlier.)
When the focus of conversation turned to the corpse of Mr. Morris, still laying out on the table. Dr. Karloff's face drew into an almost devilish grin and he pulled out a pair of latex gloves from the box on his counter. "This is exactly vhat I hope to be findink out, Dr. Doug Austin."

Doug rolled his eyes and looked at the other man. "Oh yeah sure why not? I can't think of anywhere else in the world I would rather be then down below the hospital... In a somewhat cold room... with dead people and you." He topped that off with a almost sicking sweet smile. That smiled had not lasted long either.
"What? You don't know what he died of?" He watched Dimitri put on the glove and gulped slightly hoping that he was not going to open the body up with him still sitting there. "If you are thinking about opening him up, I would wait if I where you... I don't think that is a good idea while someone unauthorized to really be here, namely me, is around."

"You know. . .I cannot think of better places to be myself," Dimitri answered, as if he had been deaf to Dr. Austin's sarcasm.
"As of now," Dimitri began, "I am not knowink vhat he is dead of. Oh, do not vorry, is perfectly fine for you, as hospital staff, to be here. All hospital staff of Seattle Grace are authorized to be present at autopsy. Is not breakink any rules."
Here, Dimitri turned around with a scalpel in-hand and gave Doug a menacing grin. After a pause, a blink, and another pause, Dimitri added, "Unless you are havink other reasons for leavink? Fear of death, fear of corpse, veak stomach for surgery perhaps?"

Doug had been trying to play it cool but when he turned around with the scalpel in had he came off that other table and walked around to the other side of it. That put two tables between him and Dimitri and one between him and the dead person. Doug looked and felt like he was being tormented and there is nothing he can do about it.
"I do not have..." A pause and he clears his throat. His first attempt at speaking made him sound higher pitched and more shrill then normal. "I do not have a fear of death, cadavers or weak stomach for surgery's. But, there is a difference between a living human and a dead one.... One is living and the other is decaying."
That may of sounded rather rude of him to say but did not care. Dimitri was not only a jerk but he was also a creep. Oh this is wonderful.

Dimitri was quite entertained by Doug's reaction. However, he knew that it was wrong to scare people the way he was. Unfortunately, he didn't really care at this particular moment in time whether or not he was being a jerk, creep, or jackass.
"Oh good, you do not have fear of death and these thinks, then you vill be okay vhen I begin autopsy! You stay and no problem!" Dimitri moved closer to the corpse, eyeing it as if debating where to cut first, though he most certainly knew where to begin.
"And thank you, but you are not needink to tell me of differences betveen livink and dead people. I am expert."

"Wait... Autopsy!?" Doug was frozen to his spot, he watched Dimitri closely as the other man started looking at the body like he had no idea where he wanted to make the first cut. Then all at once something clicked on inside of his brain and he knew what was going on. The coroner had not had all the fun he could take. He was trying to scare the willies out of him. He could not let Dimitri win this time.
After taking a moment to decide on what he was going to do, he comes around to stand on the other side of the dead body and across from Dimitri. "You know what? You absolutely right. You want to start the autopsy then I am ready when you are." He hoped that his sudden change would throw Karloff off.

Dimitri was always in the mood for fun and when it came to amusement, he could simply never get enough of it. Of course, Doug was a very amusing man. This is one reason why Dimitri did not simply direct him out of the morgue immediately. Another reason being that Doug was a person and Dr. Karloff liked to have living people in the morgue.
As the Paediatrician spoke, Dimitri watched him with an almost wicked grin. "You are ready? I am ready! Mr. Morris is ready too!" With that, the coroner rocked his head to one side and then the other, stretching his neck, and then cut a very slow and precise line down the corpse's abdomen with the scalpel in his hand.

Doug's stomach churned when he watched Dimitri do that. It churned so much that Doug winced and looked away, to him there was something very wrong about cutting into body's that can't be saved. "Witch way to the bathroom? I think I am going to be ill." That was a lie and he hoped that Dimitri would not direct him to the sink or to a waist basket. Doug looked over out the corner of his eyes and then wished he had not.

Dimitri sharply pointed at Doug with the sharpened scalpel, saying "Aha! You do have problem vith autopsy! You should not lie to me! Lies are very much bad for you!"
Putting the scalpel down on the tray again with a metallic snapping sound, Dimitri approached Doug. Pulling his gloves off inside-out and dropping them into the trash, the Russian then put a hand on Doug's back in order to push and lead the man in the right direction. "Okay, okay. Do not throw up on my floor, please. I take you to bathroom, okay? Deep breath, please."

Doug really did not know what to think. This man was going to 'take' him to the bathroom? There was something wrong with that. What was he suppose to do then? The whole point of pretending to be ill was so that he could get away completely. *DAMN IT!* he shouted in his mind. Doug took a deep breath and let the Russian push him in the right direction.
Something felt very wrong to Doug. He stopped and turned so that he could speak to Dimitri. "Not going to throw up in the floor and I'm not going to throw up in the bathroom. I made it up. Was another lie. I just thought it would help me get out of here." Doug stares at Dimitri and then shrugs, "I don't know what else to say but I apologize." Did he mean it? Hard to tell.
